Ghana's President, Nana Akufo-Addo, has once again denounced Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The attacks, according to Nana Akufo-Addo, are unwarranted and a violation of world peace.
"Whatever the fates are, Ghana my country, beacon of hope and stability in Contemporary Africa, vigorously condemns Russia's invasion of Ukraine because, in this dependent world, the consequences of this affect the lives of the millions of my fellow Africans," the president said at the Asian Society of France Conference in Paris.

According to Nana Akufo-Addo, "the horrible events in Ukraine have a direct influence on our life here in Ghana."
Ghana's economy is experiencing turbulence as a result of a number of issues, such as growing inflation and the cost of petroleum.
The country's currency is depreciating as well, particularly in comparison to the US dollar, and the public debt has reached an unsustainable level.
The Akufo-Addo administration has cited a variety of causes, such as the Covid-19 outbreak and Russia's most recent invasion of Ukraine, as the cause of Ghana's economic collapse.
