SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT WOOS ELECTORATES TO VOTE FOR NDC

The Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has asked Ghanaians to vote for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming General elections to change the fortunes of the people. He made this call in a Facebook post on his official Facebook page. "This December election presents a choice between light and darkness. It affords the good people of Ghana an opportunity to reset the country onto a path of growth and trusted leadership or upgrade misgovernance, harsh living conditions, greed, insecurity, lifeless economy, galamsey, LBGBT activism, hopelessness, and increasing loss of trust in the public utterances of public officials". According to the Speaker, Ghana needs the kind of leadership that acknowledges the difficulties the people are going through, at work and at home, accepts responsibility, and works hard to fix the problems. Then reject leaders who blame everyone and everything but themselves for problems that are especially a consequence of their leadership failure and misjudgments. "I pray, we all have the courage to confront our fears and make a choice that will restore our country and make it the beacon of hope and growth in Africa again," he said.
