The Ghana Police Service has arrested three persons in connection with a robbery incident that took place at East Legon in Accra on 18th August 2024.
The police made the arrest through a series of coordinated intelligence-led operations.
Two of the suspects Isaac Brena Eshun and Peter Amuzu were arrested on the 21st and 23rd of August respectively in Accra, while suspect Ibrahim Mohammed was arrested at Tamale on the 24th of August 2024.
Exhibits recovered from them include two iPhones, a Mercedes-Benz C180, and three additional vehicles suspected to have been obtained through illegal means.
Investigations have so far revealed that the suspects are part of a criminal syndicate involved in the robbery and sale of stolen vehicles across the country.
All the suspects are in police custody assisting the investigation.
