Hohoe United Football Club

Members of the House of Representatives,

Today, I am pleased to announce the return of Division 1 League Football to the Hohoe Constituency after an absence of almost two decades. This comes after Hohoe United Football Club was accepted into the Ghana Football Association's National Division 1 League.

This initiative represents the revival of one of our Constituency's traditional clubs, and it coincided with the building and completion of the Hohoe Sports Stadium, which seats 7000 people.

Hohoe United Football Club will serve as a unifying factor for our constituents in their efforts to secure Premier League status in the near future. I look forward to the numerous opportunities available for local enterprises such as food vendors, petty merchants, and others as we continue to find new tactics to grow our communities and empower the people.

... other companies in the neighbourhood to prosper by capitalizing on the match-day crowd's presence to expand their operations.

I am excited about the potential of major local job creation as a result of the team's presence and the stadium's completion, maintenance, and ongoing upkeep.

Furthermore, when football talents in our area are discovered, we may look forward to a new age of alternative career growth.

Let us work together to bring in a new era of enjoyable football in the Hohoe Constituency.

To conclusion, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders, particularly Togbega Gabusu VII and Mamaga Agoe Dewotornyo I, for their relentless efforts and prayers in making this dream a reality.
Akpenami.
