Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Ghana have been advised by the Petroleum Commission to make alliances and partnerships their top priority in order to achieve development and success.
In an interview with the Citi Breakfast Show, Dr. Edward Appiah-Brafoh, the Commission's Manager for Corporate Affairs, emphasized the value of teamwork.
SMEs frequently undervalue the benefits of partnerships, which may bring together capital, knowledge, and resources to dramatically improve company outcomes, according to Dr. Appiah Brafoh.
He exhorted local companies to take part in the next "This is Ghana Exhibition," which will be held at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly forecourt on August 31 and September 1, 2024, and is organized by Channel One TV/Citi FM.
Over 300 exhibitors will showcase goods and services that are produced in Ghana throughout the two-day event.
The expo intends to support local industry developments, encourage the use of Ghanaian products, and promote packaging for domestic products.
There will also be a session on "Digital Sales and Marketing to Increase Revenue" on August 31 from 3 to 5 p.m.
Inviting all SMEs and local firms to the seminar and expo, Dr. Appiah-Brafoh emphasized the vital role alliances and partnerships play in fostering economic success.

"We would want to extend an invitation to all local enterprises, SMEs, and the general Ghanaian population to attend this seminar and expo that we will be hosting in conjunction with Citi.
We would want to support local companies in their endeavors by emphasizing the need for them to develop alliances and collaborations. Thus, throughout the Seminar, we'll provide them advice on how to do that," Dr. Brafoh stated.
Additional seminars for the two-day event are scheduled for Saturday, August 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and September 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on "Managing Your Finances/Accounts" and "Packaging Your Product for the Export Market."
There is a GHC200 charge for the seminar. To register, give 0205973973 a call.
