Food is delivered to SHSs in Ghana by the Education Ministry.

According to the Education Ministry, adequate food has been sent to the various Senior High Schools (SHSs) around the country.

This comes on the heels of new claims of food shortages in schools.

Kwesi Kwarteng, the Education Ministry's Head of Public Affairs, stated that truckloads of food have been sent to schools.

He stated that the administration was making plans to ensure that additional supplies that were not easily available were transferred as quickly as possible.

"We fill the trucks with food and make sure they deliver to the schools. So, in terms of food supplies at the various schools, some has already arrived. Many of the schools have ample supplies, but we are making preparations for other commodities for which they require supply." Other districts and regions are making similar arrangements. "I can confirm that we are making attempts to feed our children," the Education Ministry's Head of Public Affairs pledged.
