Times are definitely difficult; church offerings are currently suffering - Mahama

According to former president John Dramani Mahama, churches have also been impacted by the residents' economic suffering, which has a negative impact on offertory and other religious activities.

Speaking at the E.P Church in Ho's 175th anniversary Thanksgiving ceremony, the former President emphasized the need for Christians to share love and show concern for one another in these trying times.

"We must always share Christian love, but now more than ever since noise bothers money. especially now, when we can all agree that the going is tough. Now is the time to practice Christian charity by treating our neighbors with respect. Therefore, you should share whatever you do have with your neighbor. The system's suffering was evident from the request for money, after all.

Mr. Mahama continued by saying that the pocket was not so excellent when it came to giving, which illustrates how severely the economy has impacted Ghanaians.

"When it reached GH 2000, Madam Chair and a few other donors arrived and gave, after which it dropped to GH 1000, GH 500, GH 200, and GH 100. And when it arrived at the silver collection, it was already full, indicating that the financial situation was not good.

However, he praised the church for its assistance in bringing Christianity to other countries, like Pakistan, where Christians are less active in religious issues.

John Mahama continued, "After we pray for Pakistan, Moderator should also offer a particular prayer for me and the NDC so that in some year that is just coming, luck will smile on us, God will smile on us, and give us the strength to come and save this country from the pain it is experiencing.
