A group of Ghanaians, including several members of parliament, have called for Ken Ofori-Atta, the country's minister of finance, to be fired. The Coalition of Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) Trainees have joined their calls.

In a statement, the Coalition charged that the Finance Minister had shown callous disregard for the suffering of NABCO trainees.

As his partial dedication to serving God at a time when NABCO Trainees were in shock and starving to death due to being ten full months in arrears.

Not only does the Finance Minister's approach harm humanity, but it also offends God in a straightforward manner and distorts traditional religious beliefs. In order to partially offset his appalling performance, the Finance Minister, the Honorable Ken Ofori-Atta, ordered the shutdown of the NABCO program in his 2022 mid-year budget presentation without establishing realistic deadlines for the settlement of all debts Managing the Economy" in a statement from the Coalition.
