It's everyone's job to get our economy out of this hole, according to Mahama

Steps to find a long-term solution to the nation's current economic problems, according to former president John Dramani Mahama, are a shared obligation.

The most reliable means of attaining this objective, according to him, are strong collaboration, partnerships, and mutual respect between the government, civic society, labor, and private sector.

Mr. Mahama asserted during a meeting with civil society organizations in Accra that Ghanaians can tackle the nation's socioeconomic problems.

I venture to argue that working together will put us in a better position to aid our nation in resolving its current socioeconomic problems. "Partnership, collaboration, mutual respect, and an awareness that efforts to address the needs of the average Ghanaian are a shared obligation between primarily the government, civil society, the corporate sector, labor, and other important players," he urged, are what are needed.

According to John Dramani Mahama, strengthening the quality of the nation's government requires and depends on the ongoing participation of civil society organizations (CSOs).

He urged the government to take into account the contributions of these organizations in the nation's development and called for larger civil society activities.

He believes that if policymakers take the viewpoints and factors of CSOs into consideration, the "Ghana We Want" goal may be readily achieved.

He praised CSOs for changing from combative to conversational entities, which are essential for the country's development.

There is a current movement from combative conflict to courteous, productive dialogue. Normally, the exchanges with the government were combative, but now they are more like civil conversations, and they have improved their relevance by developing new capacities for research and data analysis, acting as repositories for alternative policy ideas.
